Teaching
As a teacher, I have four goals:
1) Cultivate an inclusive community
2) Sharpen students' critical, scientific thinking skills
3) Illustrate the real-world applicability of the content
4) Provide strong mentorship.
I believe these four elements are the foundation to providing students with transformative learning experiences. I try to infuse these pillars into the classroom every day.
At Bryn Mawr College, I have taught - Introductory Psychology (B105), Introduction to Social Psychology (B208), Lab in Social Psychology (B288), and Unlocking the Self-Control Toolbox (B332), an upper-level seminar on self-control and emotion regulation.
